Romanovskii zvon: kolokola sobornogo khrama Feodorovskoi ikony Bozhei Materi (Romanov Ring: the Bells of the Church of the Feodorovskii Icon of the Mother of God)

St. Petersburg: Izdatel'stvo Zimina, [2013]. saddle-stitched. Built to celebrate the anniversary of the Romanov dynasty, the church outside St. Petersburg at Tsarskoe Selo commissioned nine bells, each one honoring a particular member of the imperial family and designed with appropriate portraits and emblems. Most of the bells were lost, melted down or vandalized after the 1917 revolution, when the church was converted into a factory. As part of the recent restoration of the church, replicas have been cast, and this brief catalogue notes the characteristics of each bell, such as weight (from 7 kg to 8740 kg), tone, and imagery. 23 p., 23 22 cm., 27 b-&-w, 54 color illus., Rus.
