This original exhibition catalogue publishes works of the 1920s by such artists and designers as Varvara Stepanova, Alexandra Exter, Liubov Popova, El Lisitskii, Liudmila Maiakovskaia, Alexander Vesnin, Gustav Klutsis ad Alexander Rodchenko together with works by twenty-first century clothing and textile designers, graphic artists, set designers, and photographers inspired by the experiments of the 1920s. The first section covers fashion and clothing. Subsequent chapters juxtapose works of the 1920s with contemporary ones in several genres such as photography and photomontage, poster art, theater design, and architecture.
