Samara: Agni, 2005. Sewn cl. Published here is a great work of Moghul book art dating to the 1500s, the Baburnama or illustrated memoir of Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur, founder of the Moghul Empire. The introduction outlines the history of the manuscript collection of the Museum of the Arts of Asian Peoples (Museum of the Orient, Muzei Vostoka) in Moscow and gives the historical background of the manuscript, whose miniatures and text celebrate the life and feats of the founder of the Mughal dynasty.
