Ekaterinburg: Ekaterinburskii muzei izobrazitel'nykh iskusstv, 2024. Saddle-stitched. This catalogue of an exhibition at the Ekaterinburg Fine Arts Museum publishes works by the private porcelain makers whose craftsmanship and freedom in form and coloring stood out for over a century among European porcelain makers. The works published in this catalogue date from the 1780s to the late nineteenth century and range from modest everyday pieces to elaborate vases and cups with portraits of members of the imperial family. Genres in which the porcelain makers excelled were sculptural figures of types and ethnic groups and works reproducing coats of arms and orders. The introduction outlines the history and accomplishments of the Gardners' enterprise. 35 p., 29 cm, approx. 40 color illus., Rus. Item #4887
